Robyn Frey-Monell, Membership
Soprano Robyn Frey-Monell holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Education with a Vocal emphasis from Westminster Choir College, a Master of Fine Arts degree in Vocal Performance from the University of California Irvine and a Doctorate of Education degree in College Vocal Instruction from Columbia University's Teachers College. Dr. Frey-Monell has performed under the batons of such conductors as Claudio Abbado, Leonard Bernstein, John Mauceri, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Simon Rattle, Mstilav Rostropovich, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Hugh Wolf. She has participated in recordings with the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and has been a featured soloist with the Carmel Bach Festival, the Long Beach Chorale, the Long Beach Mozart Festival, the Irvine Camerata, and the Orlando Chorale. Dr. Frey-Monell currently serves on the voice faculty at Biola University.
