Please join us for our Fall Symposium: "Practical Vocal Acoustics with Kenneth Bozeman" at Whittier College on Sunday, November 17th.

Ken Bozeman is the author of Practical Vocal Acoustics and is Professor Emeritus at Lawrence University. He has received the Van Lawrence Fellowship from the Voice Foundation and is a member of the American Academy of Teachers of Singing.

Ken Bozeman will present a lecture on his research on vocal acoustics and vocal pedagogy. Additionally, he will lead two masterclasses, for students and teachers, where he will demonstrate how these concepts can be applied within the voice studio. Our symposium will bridge the gap between the pedagogy and research communities to showcase how students and teachers can mutually benefit from implementing the concepts of vocal acoustics. We hope to see you there!

The venue for the symposium (Memorial Chapel), is #4 on the campus map. The parking lots in front of and behind the Music Building/Arnold Hall (#5), and behind the Shannon Center for the Performing Arts (#3) are the closest/best lots for this. There is also some street parking on Philadelphia. The Music Building address is the closest to the venue for those who are getting online directions. 13445 Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601
