Join us at Whittier College for an inspiring afternoon of conversation and workshops at the NATS-LA Chapter Fall Symposium. This year’s theme, The Versatile Voice: Bridging Classical Training and Commercial Success, explores how singers and teachers can navigate today’s expanding landscape of classical and contemporary vocal artistry. Featuring guest artists and educators Charlotte Martin (recording artist and author) and David Castillo (multi-genre performer and professor), the symposium offers engaging sessions on crossing the genre divide, vocal technique, approaching text, and practical studio tools—culminating in a dynamic masterclass.

Attendees will also enjoy collegiate poster presentations, highlighting fresh perspectives in voice pedagogy, literature, and research. From interactive workshops to candid conversations with leading artists, this symposium is designed to spark dialogue, broaden horizons, and equip singers and teachers with strategies for success in today’s multifaceted vocal world.

More info, tickets, and applications for masterclass singers and poster submissions can be found at https://natslachapter.org/fall-symposium-2025
