How can we help students become confident, independent musicians—and stay excited about making music? Join NATS-LA for a free, interactive Singers’ Roundtable with Adrian Dunn, singer, composer, conductor, and Director of Choral Programs and voice faculty member at the Colburn School. In conversation with host Marc Callahan, Adrian will explore connections between performing, composing, conducting, and teaching.

Starting points include helping students develop their own artistic judgment, valuing the musical skills and backgrounds they bring to lessons, and preparing them to create opportunities beyond the studio. Adrian’s work across classical music, gospel, and other styles offers a rich starting point for exchanging ideas about how we teach and connect with today’s students.
