Voice Science - Values and Purpose - Technique

This interactive roundtable explores how voice teachers can align technique, voice science, and pedagogy with a growth mindset while minimizing perfectionism. Participants will reflect on their teaching values, methodology, and approaches to persistent technical challenges. Led by Katharin Rundus, the session encourages open discussion and collaborative problem-solving.

Attendees are invited to bring questions—especially about ongoing technical issues—and engage in practical strategies for supporting student growth. The session will include: Clarifying vocal and pedagogical values Developing an effective teaching approach A live student demonstration of voice-building exercises Group discussion and Q&A on technical challenges. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance via the Google Form below and bring additional questions to the live session.
